How to pay for college:

  1. Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

    • Complete FAFSA Application

    • March 15, 2012: 2012-2013 FAFSA Application Priority Deadline

    • Private scholarships and loans need to be submitted to the Financial Aid office by the payment deadlines

    • If you receive an Aims Award letter, no pyament or payment plan is needed for the semester.
      • You will not be dropped from your classes
      • If aid does not cover all tuition costs, remainder owed by the student is owed by the Final Payment Deadline of the semester.

    • If you don't receive your Aims award letter by the payment deadline, you will need to continue to Step 4 for payment options.

  2. Complete your application for Aims Admission

  3. Register for Classes
    • Complete Assessment Requirements
    • Meet with an Advisor


  4. Payment Options:
    Complete one of the following by the posted Payment Deadlines to prevent from being dropped from all your classes

    • Pay in full
      • Login to myAims
      • Click on the My Financials tab
      • Click on Pay in Full by Credit Card link
      • Click on Aims CC Business Center button

    • Sign up for MyPaymentPlan - Automatic monthly payment plan
      • Optional after the Full term add/drop deadline
      • Please note: MyPaymentPlan is the only method for paying your tuition in payments if you register for classes before the Full term add/drop deadline. Making any partial payments thru the Aims CC Business Center will not place you on a payment plan and your classes may be dropped.

    • Submit 3rd Party Authorization
      • Students covered by TAA program, Workforce, Veteran Affairs, Rocky Mountain SER, Career Ladder, Army, and other government entities.

    • Be Awarded Financial Aid - Received Aims Award letter

    • Submit completed UNC/CSU Cooperative Agreement

    • Submit completed High School Dual Enrollment (PSEO) or Career Academy paperwork.

  5. Refund Information

Payments can be made by cash, check (temporary checks are not accepted), money order, cashier check, U.S. traveler's check, or credit card in person at all locations (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express).
