Aims hosts Career Nights Feb. 21 and Feb. 28

High school students and graduates are invited to find out more about the Aims Automotive Technology program at a Career Night on Feb. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Trades and Industry building on the Greeley campus. Potential students can find out more about the Automotive Technology program, including the Automotive Youth Educational Systems (AYES) program, which provides high school students an opportunity to earn college credits before graduation. Tour the facilities, meet the instructors and hear from local leaders in the industry including Roger Ramirez with Weld County Garage, Scott Ehrlich with Ehrlich Motors, AYES program director Bob Sidebottom, and Jeff Miller with Weld County School District 6. Also, the Fort Lupton campus is hosting a Career Night on Feb. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Construction and Automotive Technology building at 575 McKinley Ave. Potential students can find out more about the Construction and Automotive Technology programs, which are still accepting new students for this semester. Guest speakers include Rollie Purifoy with Purifoy Chevrolet and Bob Sidebottom with AYES. Attendees are encouraged to bring a guest, their parents and friends. Refreshments will be served.
