Registration now open for spring semester; classes begin Jan. 14

The spring semester at Aims Community College begins Jan. 14, and registration is already under way. For students who need more flexible schedules or for those who canít get to campus, Aims offers more than 80 online classes in nearly 30 subjects including accounting, anthropology, art, business, computer information systems, economics, education, English composition, graphic technology, history, marketing, mathematics, music, political science, psychology, sociology and womenís studies. Also, high school students wanting to get a head start on their college education can take courses at Aims that qualify for dual-credit status with their high schools. Talk to your high school guidance counselor to find out if your school will reimburse the tuition after successful completion of the courses. New students can apply, and returning students can enroll online by going to or come to any of the campuses on Mondays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also, registration offices on all campuses, including financial aid, advising, admissions and records, will be open for extended registration hours Jan. 7 through Jan. 17. During that period, offices are open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with regular 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours on Friday. At $52 per credit for in-district students, Aims Community College offers the best educational value in the Front Range.
