Aims Community College selects new dean in Fort LuptonSubmitted on: 06-09-2009
Aims Community College has selected Heather Lelchook as the new Interim Associate Dean of the Fort Lupton campus. Lelchook steps into the position as Karen Sell, who held the position for four years, retires from the college. Lelchook has served as the Director for the Aims Downtown Center since its inception in 2006. She brings extensive experience in adult and higher education, as an administrator and a teacher. Lelchook earned her master's degree from Colorado State University in Teaching English as a Second Language and her bachelor's degree, also from CSU, in Human Development and Family Studies. "Heather has provided solid leadership at our Downtown Greeley Center and the campus has flourished, so we expect she will be equally successful in Fort Lupton," said Aims President Marsi Liddell. "I am looking forward to being in Fort Lupton and working with the community," Lelchook said. "There is such potential for growth and partnerships with area schools and industry members for which Karen Sell has paved much of the way. She has done an amazing job, and I hope to continue her efforts."
