Aims Community College seeks nominations for Honorary Fellows award

The Aims Board of Trustees is currently accepting nominations for the Honorary Fellows of Aims Community College award. The new program recognizes community members for their extraordinary commitment, allegiance and contributions to the goals of Aims Community College and higher education. Honorary Fellows will be selected based on significant contributions in one or more of the following areas: - Long-standing efforts to further the goals and purposes of higher education - Service as an advocate of life-long learning - Championing and/or supporting students and education - Significant contributions to the furthering of scholarship in the state, county, community or the mission of Aims Community College Nomination forms are available on Aims’ Web site, The Aims Fellows Nomination Form is located on the “About Aims” page under “Resources” ( or by contacting Pat Breien, Administrative Officer, President’s Office, at or (970) 339-6211. Be sure to include the name of the nominee, a brief explanation of why the nominee qualifies (100 words or less), and the name and contact information for the person submitting the nomination. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 14, 2005. At this time, current employees of Aims are not eligible for the Honorary Fellows Program. Founded in 1967 in Greeley, Aims has since established additional campuses in Fort Lupton, Loveland and Fort Collins.
