Submitted on: 10-26-2010

Work Out West has made a significant donation to Aims Community College in support of the Student Study Lounge located in the recently remodeled Ed Beaty Hall. The Work Out West Study Lounge offers students a quiet and attractive place on campus to meet and focus on their studies. The $12,500 donation was matched by the Boettcher Foundation for a total donation of $25,000. Beaty Hall was recently renovated to include technology rich classrooms that meet the needs of students studying mathematics, computer information systems, graphic design, video and audio production, and music. "At Work Out West, we believe in strong minds and strong bodies," said General Manager Tammy Forbes. "Aims offers great educational opportunities to our community members at every stage of their lives and careers, which in turn promotes a more robust local economy.
