Submitted on: 01-04-2011

Representatives from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) will be conducting a site review of the Aims Community College Associate Degree Nursing program on February 2 - 4. Community members are invited to meet the NLNAC visit team and share comments about the Aims Nursing program from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., on Feb. 3, at the Allied Health & Sciences building on the Greeley campus. The Associate Degree Nursing program at Aims has already earned full approval from the Colorado State Board of Nursing. This national accreditation is the next step that all Colorado nursing programs must achieve per a mandate from the State Board of Nursing. Written comments to the NLNAC are also welcome and should be submitted directly to: Dr. Sharon Tanner, Chief Executive Officer 3343 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 500 Atlanta, GA 30326 or email: All written comments should arrive at NLNAC by Jan. 25.
