Aims Community College selects new Chief Facilities Management OfficerSubmitted on: 03-17-2011
Aims Community College has selected Michael Millsapps to serve as the Chief Facilities Management Officer for the college. Millsapps steps into the position after serving three years as Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations at Aims. Millsapps has nearly 20 years experience in public and private facilities management. Prior to joining Aims, he spent eight years as Facilities Manager for Larimer County. Additionally, Millsapps has served on the commissioner-appointed Board of Appeals for Larimer County since 2004, is a past president of the International Facilities Management Association-Rocky Mountain Chapter, and earned his Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential from IFMA in 2004. In 2010, he was selected to serve as a consultant to FEMA's Public Works Working Group as an expert in facilities operations. In his new position, Millsapps will direct department operations for campuses located in Greeley, Windsor, Fort Lupton and Loveland.
