GREELEY--Aims Community College is partnering with HITECH Colorado and the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO) to host a Health Information Technology Seminar on Friday, Aug. 12, from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Greeley campus. The program will prepare physicians, practice managers and clinicians for the impact of the HITECH Act, which requires medical records to be digitized by 2015. Sessions include Strategic Planning and EMR Readiness, Healthcare System Infrastructure, Health Information Systems Acquisition and more. All participants will receive an ONC-sanctioned HITECH Implementation Support for Healthcare Professionals certificate upon completion of the course. Cost to participate is $129.
