Aims Community College invites new and prospective students to 'Get Started' on their education

Submitted on: 01-04-2012

Those interested in Aims Community College can attend free “Get Started” sessions in Greeley, Loveland and Fort Lupton this spring. An advisor will be available to provide information on financial aid, selecting a major, how to enroll at Aims and any other questions potential college students may have. Tours of the campuses are also available.

Get Started sessions are generally offered in Greeley on the first and third Monday of each month in the College Center from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Due to the Martin Luther King holiday, there will not be a Greeley session on Monday Jan 16.  Instead, sessions have been added at the Greeley campus, one on Jan. 9 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and one on Jan. 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Two sessions are offered on the Loveland campus on the second Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sessions will be available at the Fort Lupton campus beginning in February on the first Monday of each month at 12:30 and 5:30 p.m.

No appointment is necessary. Family members and anyone who is interested in more information about attending Aims are welcome.

Upcoming sessions are scheduled in Greeley on Jan. 9, Jan. 12, Jan. 17 and Feb. 6. The next sessions in Loveland are scheduled Jan. 11 and Feb. 8. Sessions in Fort Lupton begin Feb. 6.
