Celebrate Earth Day at Aims Community College with award-winning author Marty Essen

Marty Essen, award-winning author of “Cool Creatures, Hot Planet: Exploring the Seven Continents” will share facts, stories and photos from his travels at Aims Community College on Friday, April 20, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Ed Beaty Hall Theater on the Greeley campus.

The multi-media presentation, titled “Around the World in 90 Minutes,” includes a slide show as well as elements of lecture and theater. Essen’s book has won several awards, including the Benjamin Franklin Award for Travel/Essay, the Green Book Award for Animals and the National Indie Excellence 2007 Book Award for Travel/Essay.

This presentation is sponsored by the Aims Human2Human Project, The Aims Diversity Council, the Associated Students of Aims Community College and the Aims Center for Professional Development.

All Human2Human events are free and open to the public and take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Ed Beaty Hall Theater.
