New students receive guaranteed tuition rates at Aims Community College

Submitted on: 08-01-2013

In a continuing effort to keep higher education affordable, the Aims Community College Board of Trustees voted to extend its Guaranteed Tuition program to new students enrolling this fall. The program promises prospective graduates will receive a refund of any tuition increases that might occur through summer semester 2015.

“With so much attention on the student debt crisis in the national media, we thought that the Aims Board of Trustees should do what we can to ensure that our students are spared a burden that can plague their bank accounts for years to come,” said Board Chair Walt Richter. “Aims continues to offer amazing educational opportunities at the incredibly affordable rate of $67 per credit.”

The Guaranteed Tuition program is offered to in-district, degree-seeking students who are new to Aims, enroll in fall semester 2013 or later and graduate by the end of summer semester 2015. Students who have taken college credits while in high school are also eligible for the rebate. For more information, visit
