Aims Community College is proud to congratulate Kim Joiner for her recent LIVE UNITED Award. Kim will be honored for her service, along with other recipients on Tuesday, March 13 at the United Way Celebration of Excellence to be held at the UNC Student Center Ballroom from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The United Way honored Ms. Joiner for her “…continuous commitment and leadership” which have “made a significant difference in our organization as well as in our community….” The United Way explained that Kim’s “devoted generosity, advocacy, and volunteerism radiate and have a positive impact on United Way of Weld County.”
When Kim Joiner was notified of the award she stated that she was “truly honored and humbled to receive the LIVE UNITED Award. I am passionate and share the vision of United Way of Weld County to increase services which advance education, income and health of everyone in Weld County.” Ms. Joiner is enthusiastic about the collaborative work she does with United Way, Early Education Committee and the Refugee Collaboration Forum. She is grateful to the United Way team for their support with the Student Resource Committee on the campus of Aims Community College in helping students stay in school by bringing community agencies to the campus to assist students in their time of need.
Aims congratulates Ms. Joiner and is proud to have employees who are dedicated to the community and volunteer their time to serve on committees and with organizations that promote community collaboration.
