Aims Community College Selects Barnes & Noble College to Manage the Campus Bookstores

Retailer Bringing Cost-Saving Options and Expanded Services to Students and Faculty

Greeley, CO - Aims Community College announced it will partner with Barnes & Noble College to operate the Campus Bookstore beginning June 17.

Barnes & Noble College’s Campus Connect Technologies will bring Aims Community College the largest selection of course materials in a variety of cost-saving formats - rental, used, digital, and new.  These innovative solutions include our Course Fee programs, multi-platform LMS integration strategies, real-time Student Financial Aid modules and our Registration Integration online ordering system.   Faculty will also have access to a groundbreaking online community, FacultyEnlight (, a streamlined textbook adoption platform that combines advanced search capabilities with detailed information on course material formats, pricing and reviews by other Faculty.

Aims Community College students will also enjoy the Bookstore that reflects Aims CC's unique brand, including an expanded selection of school spirit apparel; laptops and other technology products; as well as gifts for alumni, friends and family. 

In addition to the Bookstores, Barnes & Noble College will also manage the Store's online website – delivering an innovative customized shopping experience and giving students, faculty, staff, and alumni the choice and convenience to shop in-store or online.

Students will also have access to Barnes & Noble College’s textbook rental program, which can save students an average of 50 percent off the price of a new textbook.   Students will have the choice to rent a new or used textbook, with the option to purchase their rental at the end of the agreement. Students will also gain access to the largest digital library in the industry, with over 3 million titles to choose from.

After carefully considering other store management options, Aims Community College selected Barnes & Noble College as offering the best course material options, retail experience, resources and technological innovation to support the college's students, faculty, staff, and alumni.  Full-time bookstore staff members will be offered to continue in similar positions as Aims transitions with Barnes & Noble.

Barnes & Noble College will establish a strong social media presence on Facebook that reflects local events and promotions. In addition, the Bookstore team will reach out to both faculty and student organizations to ensure these groups are able to leverage the full resources their bookstores have to offer.
