Submitted on: 03-10-2006

Aims Loveland Campus will host ArtSteps 2006 "Art on the Town," through April 26. ArtSteps is a collaborative program between the Thompson School District, the Loveland Museum/Gallery and Aims Community College. The overall goal of ArtSteps is to affirm community appreciation for young artists by displaying their artwork in a professional setting, as well as fostering relationships between local artists and students. ArtSteps also coincides with March's National Youth Art Month. Aims students who have submitted an art piece for the show include Margie Ellis, Wendy Jordan, Preston Stone, Sally Upton and Bob Vangermeersch. Aims Loveland Campus is located at 104 E. Fourth Street in Downtown Loveland. For more information call 667-4611. If you are interested in volunteering with future ArtSteps projects, including the art show and public art projects, please contact Jenni Dobson, Youth Activities Coordinator for the Loveland Museum Gallery, at 962-2562.
