Aims Community College will begin offering Certified Nurse Aide courses on the Loveland campus. Through the five-credit program, students will prepare themselves to sit for the State Board of Nursing’s CNA exam, which allows them to enter the healthcare field in a variety of positions. Day classes start July 10 and run through Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Evening classes begin July 17 and run through Aug. 21 from 4 to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Aims recently lowered tuition for out-of-district students to just $75 per credit. In district rates are $50 per credit. The college will continue to expand the CNA offerings in the fall, as well.
