How do I receive my VA monies?VA will pay you after each month of completed enrollment. You will receive your payment by paper check or direct deposit based on what you indicated on your VA application. If you are a Chapter 30 or Chapter 1606 (Selected Reserves) recipient you must verify your enrollment to VA the last calendar day of each month in order to receive payment for that month. Verify your enrollment online using the WAVE at the GI BILL website or by calling the toll-free Interactive Voice Response (IVR) telephone line at 1-877-823-2378.

Will VA pay the school for my tuition? No. Your VA benefit payments go directly to you so it is your responsibility to pay the school for your tuition and fee expenses by the published deadlines in the Class Schedule. Remember VA pays you after you have completed a month of enrollment so be prepared to make your down payment and purchase your books.
Make all tuition and fees payments directly to the Aims Community College Cashier’s Office. For information on Advance Payment Request contact the Aims Community College VA Certifying Official.
