What is work-study?At Aims, Work-Study is made up of the Federal Work-Study and the Colorado Work-Study programs. The Federal Work-Study Program is need based, whereas the Colorado Work-Study Program has a need based and non-need based component.
Work-Study allows students to work part-time (15 – 20 hours per week) to earn money for their education. The program encourages community service work and work related to a student’s course of study.
