I am a distance learning student. Do I need to take the Accuplacer placement exam?

All new distance learning students who are pursuing a degree program must meet assessment requirements. Your assessment must be completed and on file before you can take classes at Aims.

I am taking a few distance learning classes for personal interest. Am I still required to take the placement exam?

It depends on the course. If you are taking classes for personal interest you do not have to meet Aims assessment requirements.
