5th Annual Multicultural Art Show Opens April 4
Aims Community College's fifth annual Multicultural Art Exhibition is set for April 4 through May 2. Everyone is invited to view work that celebrates diverse themes by artists from across northern Colorado at an Opening Reception on April 4 from 4 to 6 p.m.
This year's exhibition will be juried by Hee-Hun Cho, a sculptor. Cho, along with the Aims Diversity Committee and College President Dr. Marsi Liddell, will select award winners based on originality, creativity, technique, professionalism, presentation and conveyance of the multicultural theme.
The juried exhibit will be located in the Aims Student Gallery in Ed Beaty Hall. Works that are not selected for the juried show will be featured in the Salon de Refuses in Ed Beaty Hall 110 during opening night only on April 4.
Artists featured in the Salon de Refuses may collect their work April 4 through April 11. After the conclusion of the exhibition on May 2, all artwork must be picked up by May 9 or it will become the property of Aims Community College.
