The Aims Community College Board of Trustees is seeking nominations for the annual Aims Fellows awards. The nomination period will close on March 15 and the Board will vote to select recipients at their April meeting. The Board initiated this award in 2005 to recognize individuals from the community who have made outstanding contributions to higher education and/or Aims College.

Criteria for this award include:
• Long-standing efforts to further the goals and purposes of higher education.
• Service as an advocate of life-long learning.
• The championing and/or supporting of students and education.
• Significant contributions to the furthering of scholarship in the state, county, community or to the mission of the College.

This year’s recipients will be recognized before the Board of Trustees at the May meeting.

For more information, or to receive a nomination form, contact Karoline Woodruff at 339-6211.
