Aims director a leader on the topic of first generation students

Aims Community College's Student Support Services Program Director Therese Lask has recently published two articles in The Academy Leadership Journal for Post-Secondary Leaders, based on her doctoral research. "First Generation Students: Stories of Hope and Resilience – I know I Can Learn" and "First Generation Students: Stories of Hope and Resilience – A Life's Journey from a Strengths Perspective" were published in the Journal's Summer and Fall/Winter issues respectively. Lask will present her research on students' first-year experience at the International Chair Academy Conference in Nashville in March.
