Cooperation among local libraries topic for 2009 Mountain Plains Library Association Joint Conference

Aims Community College’s Lead Librarian Ellen Willis has been selected to present at the 2009 Mountain Plains Library Association Joint Conference with the Kansas Library Association. Willis will travel to Wichita to present “Business Research Connects Us All: A Public and Academic Partnership in Northern Colorado.” The presentation reviews the increasingly important role libraries are playing to meet the research needs of small businesses and entrepreneurs in local communities. Willis’ presentation features the ongoing collaboration between Aims Community College, the University of Northern Colorado and High Plains Library District.
