Printer Friendly Version Submitted on: 04-30-2009
Aims Community College is hosting a technology fair to allow potential students to take a look behind the scenes in the world of information technology. The event takes place on April 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Ed Beaty Hall on the Greeley campus. It is free, open to the public and no registration is required.
Potential students will learn about the soft and technical skills required in today's marketplace, and what it's really like to be an IT professional from industry representatives and Aims alumni. Information will be provided on the Aims Web Development, Networking, Programming and Database Management programs.
The event is sponsored in part by the National Science Foundation's Advanced Technical Education grant and the Colorado Advanced Technological Education Partnership. For more information, contact Dick Gardner at (970) 339-6289 or Ellen Swieter at (970) 339-6522.
