Bindery
Our bindery equipment allows us to create neat, professional materials
that endure the demands of everyday use. From collating to cutting
using a variety of hand-operated and automated machines, the bindery
department is designed for precision and accuracy.
Reprographics employees perform a wide variety of finishing services
including: folding, stapling, cutting/trimming, drilling, perforating,
mail merges, saddle stitching, stuffing, collating and padding. A wide variety of equipment
is on hand to provide these services. If Reprographics cannot provide a certain
service in-house we will contact an outside vendor to bring your project to completion.
Binding
When you need to keep your job together you have many
options for binding from spiral, comb to stitching done right
in Reprographics. Other forms of book stitching may be sent to
an outside company.
Drilling
Holes can be drilled on any side of a publication.
Standard drilling requests
are 3-hole on the left side or 2-hole at the top. Our equipment
can be set up to drill ½ inch hole any location on a sheet. The drilling machine is
heavy duty and can drill up to 250 sheets of paper at a time.
Folding
We can hand-fold or machine-fold your documents
in a number of formats.
Lamination
We can secure them for long-term use by
laminating. The largest size our lamination equipment will support
is 25 inches by any length.
Numbering
Sequential numbering is a function we must
send to an outside vendor. Please allow 3 to 4 days for printed
materials to be sent out for numbering.
Perforation
Perforation can be used to produce removable reply
cards, coupons, and reminder pieces. We do not have perforation
equipment, and these jobs must be sent to an outside company.
Stuffing
Reprographics can help you put your mailing
pieces together by stuffing letters and informational materials
in envelopes. We provide the envelopes too! However, if you have a large mailing we may
have to send it to an outside company that concentrates on just that function.
