How to Order (whichever one's easier for you)
1. Come by
Most copy jobs can be handled quickly. If it’s a larger
job, we’ll tell you when you can come by to pick it up. Our
office is in the General Services Building. Come in Door C and
follow the signs.
2. Send in your order
Just fill out our easy-to-use Reprographics Work order form.
These forms are available from our Reprographics storeroom, or
most division offices that supply them. When your order is complete
just place your order in conveniently located pick-up boxes in
division offices, or in the outgoing mail. The purchasing department
picks up and delivers two times per day. The Reprographics
Work order form may be used to order any print order, Repro storeroom
item or blank paper and envelopes.
3. E-mail your order
E-mail any order to reprojob@aims.edu . Please
include all information that may apply to the order such as; due
date, amount needed and contact information. Then attach
your file and send. We will follow up with a reply to
your email. If you do not receive a follow up email please
contact Reprographics at extension 6272. We accept a variety of
software files including; word, publisher, PowerPoint. Excel, PDF
files, JPEG, TIFF and EPS files, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and
Illustrator files. If you have a print order that is not
created in one of these formats contact our staff, many times we
are able to convert or work with your file and get it produced.
4. Phone in your order. ext. 6272
Phone in orders for storeroom items or print orders that we have
printed before. We’ll fill out the paper work for you.
Providing Text Files
If you have a printing project, and it is already typed, please
provide a text file. This will decrease the time it takes
to produce your print job. When creating a text file for Reprographics
to use, please use tabs instead of spaces to align text,
tables, and numbers into columns.
When providing pre-typed text on disk, it should not be assumed
that the text will be
error free. When translating and manipulating text some commands
and type may be lost. This copy should not be overlooked
in the proofing process.
Estimates
If you have questions, or you are not sure what a job would cost,
give us a call and we can do most estimates over the phone. On
larger estimate jobs, we can email you with the amounts.
