Aims is one of only 31 colleges and universities, which holds the Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) designation. This means the FAA recognizes Aims for offering a program that exceeds the standards and affords our graduates an edge.
The Colorado Office of Veterans Education and Training approves all of our programs for veterans education benefits.
Flight training for our helicopter program is made possible through our partnership with Front Range Helicopters, located at the Fort Collins/Loveland airport.
Important Information
All students pursuing a pilot degree from Aims must have a medical certificate issued by an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) prior to starting any flight lessons.
Students using Veterans Benefits must possess a second class medical or greater to be eligible for flight training.
