Accounting Certificate
The accounting certificate prepares students for job entry into a wide
variety of clerical positions which have a record keeping or bookkeeping
component. Additional office skills (see Business Technology)
are also typically useful for such positions.
Upon successful completion of this program, you should possess the skills
and knowledge to perform entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
Following is a suggested sequence of courses if you demonstrate college-level
proficiency in reading, writing and mathematics. See
if you qualify.
Or, see your advisor to develop your own schedule.
