The demand for quality child care has increased the number of career options in the exciting and rewarding field of early childhood.

The expansion of knowledge in child development method has created specialized fields for working with young children and families.

The program is designed to prepare students for positions in:

  • private preschools
  • small and large child care centers
  • Head Start programs
  • infant nurseries
  • inclusive child care centers
  • family child care homes

Courses offered meet Colorado requirements for child care centers director qualifications. Students complete practicum work at the Monfort Early Childhood Education Center located on the Greeley campus.
