Medical Assisting offers a short certificate or two-year degree program for individuals wanting to enter the medical field as a medical assistant.
Job opportunities include medical and administrative duties for positions in doctor offices and various clinical sites. Medical Assisting provides the educational stepping stone necessary to advance to other medical careers.
Phlebotomy
Students complete HPR 112 Phlebotomy in the Classroom for 4 Credits and then complete an Internship in the field for 3 credits. Upon completion of the course, students are eligible for employment as a phlebotomist in a hospital or clinical setting.
