This course is designed to provide the EMT Intern with 90 hours of field internship. This is an opportunity for the student to work in a clinical or pre-hospital setting as an EMT working under the supervision of a clinical/field preceptor. Emphasis is placed on building basic assessment skills, patient contact hours, and knowledge that will be necessary to gain successful employment in the student's chosen area.
- Colorado State EMT Certification
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR Cert
- List of disqualifying offenses
**Copies of all documents are due to Stacey Tekansik before the prerequisite due date. If you have questions, please contact Stacey directly at 970-339-6397 or email@example.com. Documentation may either be hand delivered or scanned and emailed. Students whose prerequisites are not completed by the due date, will be administratively dropped from the course.

- EMS 180 – EMT Clinical Internship (2 credits)
**Students will only be allowed to register for this class with department approval after all prerequisites are completed and turned in to Stacey Tekansik.
- Uniform (Navy slacks, white polo shirt, black shoes)
- Aims issued EMT Internship ID tag
- Protective eyewear
