About Radiologic Technology
Radiologic Technology is the first step in a long list of occupational opportunities. Radiographers play an active role in emergency medicine, criminal forensics, surgical medicine, pediatric and geriatric medicine as well as many other diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures.
The mission of the Aims Community College Radiologic Technology Program is to provide educational opportunities in Radiologic Technology that abide by current standards and guidelines adopted by:
- American Society of Radiologic Technologists
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Colorado Community College System
- North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
Career Opportunities
Our program offers courses leading to an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Radiologic Technology, preparing students for entry-level positions as radiologic technologists.
Students successfully completing the program are eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists competency examination that upon successful completion will allow the graduate to hold the status of Registered Technologist (R.T.).
