an additional science course. Students will need to check with
the transferring institution(s) for specific information and requirements.
- Applicants who have not previously taken BIO 105, or an acceptable
substitute, but have already completed BIO 201, BIO 202, and/or BIO
216 must take an additional four-credit hour science course prior to

- Regarding transfer students, nursing courses (those with a NUR prefix)
must receive approval by the Associate Dean/DNEP of Nursing before being
transferred in. It will be a rare exception that NUR courses greater
than one year old will be considered for transfer.
NOTE: Licensed Practical Nurses applying to the Associate Degree Nursing Program have different criteria for transferring in nursing classes.
- All state and college policies regarding transfer of credit as outlined
in the College Catalog also apply.
