Leadership DevelopmentHonors Program completion requires three documented leadership experiences. Students should be alert to leadership opportunities on campus as well as off-campus.
On-campus leadership experiences include:
- Student government leadership
- Student club leadership
- Leadership seminars
- Leadership-centered Honors course projects
Off-campus leadership experiences may include:
- Work with non-profits
- City committee participation
- Political activity
- Church-related activity
Students with ideas for leadership experiences should contact their Honors Program advisor before engaging in such an experience, and ensure the leadership experience is documented properly, using the form available from their Honors Program advisor.
