Horticulture and Landscape Technologies

This one year certificate program prepares students for entry-level positions in the cultivation, propagation, treatment, and maintenance of vegetation. This program emphasizes the production, storage, and marketing of fruit, nut, vegetable, and ornamental greenhouse and nursery crops, as well as the design, planting and management of landscapes.

Possible job opportunities include:

  • Commercial or research nurseries and greenhouses
  • Governmental or private agencies or firms involved in resource development and conservation
