The mission of the Mathematics Department is to provide the appropriate mathematics and problem solving skills for Aims Community College graduates.

Prospective students will be evaluated to find their entry point into the mathematics sequence. Subsequent courses will allow students to complete the necessary mathematics courses for their particular educational goals.

Advanced Mathematics courses prepare students for study in the following four-year degrees:

  • Engineering - Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Computer and Mechanical
  • Mathematics - Applied and Theoretical
  • Education - Secondary and Elementary
  • Statistics - Applied Statistics, Actuary Science
