Sustainable Industrial Technology & Energy (SITE)

The Sustainable Industrial Technology & Energy (SITE) program at Aims Community College is made up of two parts: industrial technology and energy. Both of these will see steady growth over the next several decades.

Industrial Technology

Work in an industrial setting (like a manufacturing or processing facility) and help your company grow in profits while increasing efficiency all while maintaining a high level of occupational safety.

Consider the Introduction to Energy Technology 1 or 2, Process Efficiency Controls 1 or 2, or any of the SITE I, SITE II, or SITE III certificates. If, for example, you want to work at Leprino Foods or Vestas, these would be a great fit.

Associate Degree

Pursue an Applied Associate degree and then continue your studies at a 4-year institution.
