Associate of Applied Science Degree

The CIS Associate of Applied Science Degree is a Career/Technical degree designed to prepare the student for an entry level position in any of the areas focused on by our certificates. This degree requires the completion of 16 credits of General Education classes, 25 credits of required computer classes (designed to give the student knowledge in a wide range of subjects important in this highly changing area) and at least 23 certificate credits.

Certificate credits are earned upon completing the appropriate number of advanced classes included in any of the seven certificate areas.(Note: certain certificates carry more advanced credits than others.)
