| This course introduces the student to the Java programming language. This courses covers many of the topics of a object-oriented language such as classes, instance v. class objects, inheritance, polymorphism, arrays and collections, exceptions, recursion, threads, applets, and GUI's. Java is platform-independent and will run on any computer, which makes it ideal for Web programs. The student is expected to have a working background in another high-level programming language such as C++. | ||
