CNG 101 Intro to Networking This course is designed to help students learn networking technology concepts, it offers a comprehensive review of the basics of building, configuring and maintaining networks. 3
CNG 102 Local Area Networks This course will introduce the student to local area networking through a series of simulations and case projects. 3
CNG 109 Computer Network Lab Offers the student complete hands on practice and discovery with the software and hardware found in most network connectivity situations today. 3
CNG 131 Network Security Fundamentals Delivers a comprehensive overview of network security, including general security concepts. Communication Security is studied, including remote access, email, the Web, directory and file transfer, and wireless data. Common network attacks are introduced. 3
CNG 258 Computer Forensics Exposes the student to the field of Computer Forensics and investigation. This course provides the student with methods to properly conduct a computer forensics investigation beginning with a discussion of ethics. This course is currently inactive. CSC 116 Logic and Program Design This is the entry level programming class. The student is introduced to computer program design using concepts of structured programming and logic. 3
CSC 150 Visual Basic Programming This is an introduction to programming and application development for the Microsoft Visual Basic.NET environment. The student will write basic Windows type applications. 3
CSC 151 Advanced Visual Basic Programming This course will build on the skills developed in CSC-150. The focus will be on more involved applications, work with advanced controls, and deal with additional advanced topics. 3
CSC 160C Computer Science I:(C++) This course introduces the student to the C++ programming language with a slant toward programming games. 4
CSC 160J Computer Science I:(Java) This course introduces the student to the Java programming language and many of the related Computer Science topics needed at the four-year schools. 4
CSC 161J Computer Science II:(Java) This course is the second in a series of Java courses and is an introduction to Data Structures. 4
CSC 200 Game Programming I This course is a continuation of the CSC-160(C++) course and allows the student to design and code computer games using a graphics library. 3
CSC 216 Computer Game Logic and Design This course teaches the fundamentals of two and three dimensional game programming. This course includes graphics, sound and multiple input devices. 3
CWB 110 Complete Web Authoring Explores the complete set of web development and layout methods using XHTML and Cascading Style Sheets(CSS). 3
CWB 204 Cascading Style Sheets This class explores the use of the Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) language as a means of separating content and design on web documents. 3
CWB 205 Complete Web Scripting Explores the use of client side scripting languages, XHTML, and CSS to create web pages that will dynamically change in response to user actions. 3
CWB 206 Web Database The course uses the PHP scripting language, MySQL database server, and Apache Webserver on a Linux platform. 3
MAT 108 Technical Mathematics This course provides students with the practical mathematics skills needed in a wide variety of trade and technical areas. 4
MAT 121 College Algebra Includes a brief review of intermediate algebra, equations and inequalities, and covers functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, theory of equations, graphs, and linear and nonlinear systems. 4
MGD 143 Motion Graphic Design I (Flash) Stresses creation of animation and dynamic interactive media for web and multimedia applications. 3
MGD 243 Web Motion Graphic Design II (Flash) Stresses the complex creation of 2D animated motion graphics concentrating on the prior skills learned and the use scripting and behaviors. 3
