Submit the proper documents to apply for an F-1 student via through the United States Embassy

• Completed signed application
• Proof of finances - bank statement in US dollars
• Transcripts from high school and other schools attended
• English proficiency results

Receive I-20 from Aims Community College

Schedule an interview with United States Embassy to obtain an F-1 student visa

Notify International Office at Aims Community College once you have received your F-1 student visa.

Notify International Office at Aims Community College when you plan to arrive in the United States

Once you have arrived in the United States report to the International Student Office at Aims (College Center 734)

Take the Placement test to determine what classes you will register for

Meet with advisor to determine classes to enroll in and class schedule

Register for classes

Attend the international student orientation

Complete the payment process

Tuition and Fee payment is printed in the semester class schedule

25% of tuition and fees needs to be paid before the first day of classes or all your classes will be dropped
