a Get Started Session
Get Started sessions are highly recommended for any returning
student who has not been enrolled at Aims for more than 5 years,
who is seeking a degree or certificate or is planning on taking
a few courses and transferring.
Information will be provided on:
- Aims' programs
- Enrollment steps
- Using the catalog and schedule
- Financial aid
- Other services and resources

Meet the Assessment Requirements
What tests/courses/scores do you need to have?
- ACT scores (Reading 17, Sentence Skills 18, Math 19), or
- SAT scores (Verbal 430, Math 460), or
- Successful completion of college-level math and English courses,
or
- Taking the Accuplacer

Register for Classes
In person or online - Make sure to register for a New Student Orientation
(CSL 178)

Complete the Payment Process
- Tuition and Fee Payment Policy is printed in the semester
class schedule
- 25% of tuition and fees needs to be paid prior to the first
day of classes or all courses will be dropped

Purchase your Textbooks and
Supplies
Books and supplies can be purchased on-campus or online
- Visit the Aims' bookstore in the College Center for new and
used books
- Textbooks can be ordered online at www.efollett.com
