Getting Started - Transferring to Aims

Complete Your Application for Admission
There is no application fee or deadline

 

Consider Transferring Previous College Coursework to Aims

  • If you received a "C" or better in coursework at your previous college and think it may apply to the degree or certificate you are studying for at Aims, contact your previous school to request your official academic transcript.
  • Complete a Transfer Credit Evaluation Request form to let us know whats coming. We'll do the rest!

 

Apply Early for Financial Aid & Scholarships
FAFSA, loans, grants, scholarships, and student employment

 

Meet the Assessment Requirements
What tests/courses/scores do you need to have?

  • ACT scores (Reading 17, Sentence Skills 18, Math 19), or
  • SAT scores (Verbal 430, Math 460), or
  • Successful completion of college-level math and English courses, or
  • Taking the Accuplacer computer placement test

Register for Classes
In person or online - Make sure to register for a New Student Orientation (CSL 178)

 

Complete the Payment Process

  • Tuition and Fee Payment Policy is printed in the semester class schedule
  • 25% of tuition and fees needs to be paid prior to the first day of classes or all courses will be dropped

 

Purchase your Textbooks and Supplies
Books and supplies can be purchased on-campus or online

  • Visit the Aims' bookstore in the College Center for new and used books
  • Textbooks can be ordered online at www.efollett.com

 

Attend a New Student Orientation (CSL 178)
For students who have registered
