Grading Policies

All courses must be taken for a letter grade.

VERY IMPORTANT: Grades earned in Aims Community College courses become a permanent part of a student's academic record, and they establish that student's grade point average at any Aims campus.  Therefore, it is extremely important that a student earn at least a C in these courses.  Even a grade of C could prevent a student from being admitted to some Colorado universities, regardless of their high school GPA or college entrance exam score.

STUDENTS WHO ARE AT RISK OF RECEIVING A GRADE LOWER THAN C SHOULD CONSIDER WITHDRAWING FROM THE COURSE.
