Allied Health and Science Building
Since 2004, Aims has added nine new healthcare (degree and certificate) programs. The programs include: a two-year Registered Nurse degree, Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic, Surgical Technology, Certified Nurse Aides, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, Gerontology Aide, and Athletic Trainer. These programs augment the already established, and highly regarded, Radiologic Technology Program.
Until now, Aims' allied health and science classroom instruction has taken place in modestly equipped facilities scattered across campus. However, as a part of an ambitious plan to address the healthcare workforce needs in our area, these programs are now housed in a new state-of-the-art learning facility. Here, Aims' experienced instructors integrate hands-on, simulated training with challenging classroom content.
The 68,500 square foot allied health and science building includes cutting-edge instruction and technology for the 400 plus Aims students who graduate in the allied health fields each year. Aims programs are designed to compliment rather than compete with healthcare programs that are offered at other regional institutions, while customizing instruction to fit the northern Colorado communities
