Fort Lupton Campus
Aims hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony in September 2013 for a new $9 million, 27,000 square foot passive- solar facility located on the Fort Lupton campus. The Platte Building will serve students studying oil and gas and agriculture. Now, individuals who have an interest in certificates and degrees that focus on our expanding industries may pursue degrees such as Agriculture Business and Agriculture Production through Aims Community College.
In addition to classrooms, this impressive structure features several fully-equipped welding and chemistry labs. It also includes two spacious shops that are specifically designed with the oil and gas industry and agriculture in mind.
Renovation of the existing, Prairie Building, was also ready for students beginning fall semester 2013. Together, these two facilities provide significant work-force development for members of south Weld County and beyond.
