The Aims Community College Foundation thanks you for your contributions. Regardless of the amount, all gifts are valuable to students and programs of Aims Community College. Donations can be made as an outright gift through cash, property, or stock. Deferred contributions can be made through a bequest, charitable trust or annuity, or a life insurance policy. The foundation also welcomes your pledge of support.
Pledges may be fulfilled over a period of one to five years. As the donor, you determine how your gift is directed. Some of our donors choose annual commitments for program or scholarship support. Other donors choose endowment gifts for a lasting legacy.
Recent Tax Legislation
Per the recent governmental decisions, the charitable tax deduction was not capped as part of the "fiscal cliff" legislation. In addition, the IRA rollover has received an extension. The two-year extension is, in fact, fully retroactive to Jan. 1, 2012 and runs through Dec. 31, 2013 (with special transition rules in effect for gifts made in Dec. 2012 and Jan. 2013). This is good news for donors who have an interest in making charitable donations to Aims, and to their other charities.
A variety of naming options are available at Aims for consideration. Many individual donors appreciate the recognition for family that is tied to this type of donation. Businesses too, understand the value of sponsorship support. The investment requirement for each of these opportunities differs.
Please contact the Foundation for specific information.
