Quick Start Sessions

What is a Quick Start Session?

The staff at Kiefer Library wants to help you get a jump start on your assignments this semester.  We are offering short sessions that give you a quick overview of the various resources available to you for your class presentation or paper.  You will learn how to find a book in our catalog and how to search a few of our electronic databases to find a magazine article. We will also show you a few other important tools to help you locate materials for your assignments.

How Long Will It Take?

The session will last 20-30 minutes.  But, you can stay and ask questions if you want.

Where are the sessions held?

The sessions are held in the Library, which is located in the College Center, 2nd Floor.

Do I need to sign up for them?

No, these are drop-in sessions.
