What is a Quick Start Session?

The staff of Kiefer Library wants to help you get a jump start on your assignments this semester.  We are offering short sessions that give you a quick overview of the various resources available to you for your class presentation or paper.  You will learn how to find a book in our catalog and how to search a few of our free electronic databases to find a magazine article or a primary source.

How Long Will It Take?

The session will last 20-30 minutes.  But, you can stay and ask questions if you want.

Where are the sessions held?

The sessions are held in the Fireside Lounge which is located in Ed Beaty Hall, Room 127.

Do I need to sign up for them?

No, these are drop-in sessions.
