Students
Mark Thiesen's story Mark Thiesen wanted to work on cars. When he found out the Aims Fort Lupton Campus was going to offer a program in automotive technology, he couldn't get involved quickly enough.
"I was so anxious to get in that I volunteered to work at the new building before it opened and helped set it up," he said.
Mark is earning work study credit for the work he has done with the new Construction and Automotive Technology building in Fort Lupton. He said he likes pretty much everything about the program and the new facility.
"What's not to like? The class sizes are small, the facility is awesome and the technology is great," he said. "I like the new building a lot. I'm looking forward to being here for the long run."
Mark encourages others to see the new building and give the program a try.
"I tell them to come on down!" he said. "People need to take advantage of it now that it's here." Read about another student |
