Max Barber's story Max Barber wanted a change from his career in restaurant management.
"I couldn't work 70 hours a week anymore," he said. "I wanted a life."
So he enrolled in the Radiologic Technology program in the fall of 2005. Barber, an Aims Scholar, said he enjoys Aims because of its affordability, small classes, excellent instructors and campus environment.
"The instructors really do make all the difference," he said. "And I like the little nooks and crannies all over campus where I can sit down and study or just hang out."
With the demand for workers in health care on the rise, Barber is confident and excited about his future.
